About this tool
Choose how often a job should run, and get the five-field cron expression for it. Or paste an expression and read what it means in plain English. The next five run times are calculated for you in your time zone, UTC or India time. Ranges, steps, lists and day names are supported, and the day-of-month and day-of-week rule is explained.
Common questions
What are the five fields?
Minute, hour, day of the month, month and day of the week, in that order. Sunday is 0 or 7.
What happens when I set both a day of the month and a day of the week?
Cron runs the job when either one matches. For example, 0 0 13 * 5 runs on every 13th and also on every Friday.
Does it support six-field cron with seconds?
No. This is standard five-field cron, as used by Linux crontab. Some schedulers add a seconds field that is not covered here.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs inside your browser, so what you enter stays on your device.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
