About this tool
Printing a booklet by hand means working out which page goes where, because page 1 sits beside the last page on the outer sheet. This tool does that for you. Print the result double-sided, fold the stack in half, and the pages read in order. Text stays sharp because nothing is turned into a picture.
Common questions
Which print settings should I use?
Print double-sided, choose Flip on short edge, and set the scale to 100% or Actual size. If your printer only offers Flip on long edge, choose that here, and the back of each sheet is turned to match.
Why were blank pages added?
Each folded sheet holds four pages, so a booklet needs a page count that divides by 4. To keep your last page on the back cover, turn on that option and the blanks go just before it.
What is creep?
In a thick booklet the inner sheets stick out further at the edge once folded. Creep moves their content slightly toward the fold, so margins look even after trimming. Booklets under about 40 pages rarely need it.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.
What happens to my files?
Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
