About this tool

Publish a PDF as a web page that can be searched, copied and read without a PDF viewer. Everything sits in one HTML file, with pictures embedded, so there's nothing else to upload. Keep the page layout for a close match, or choose the simple style for plain headings and paragraphs.

Common questions

Which style should I choose?

Keep the page layout when it should look like the PDF. Choose the simple page when you want the text to reflow on a phone, or to reuse it elsewhere.

Will fonts match the PDF exactly?

Close, but not always. Text is shown in common web fonts of a similar style, and spacing is adjusted so lines stay in place.

Does it work on scans?

The page image comes through, but a scan has no text to select. Run it through OCR PDF first and the text becomes selectable.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up, and nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
