About this tool
Break a long PDF into smaller files. Give every page its own file, cut it into equal chunks, or type the exact ranges you need, such as 1-3, 4-7, 8-.
Common questions
How do I write custom ranges?
Separate each new file with a comma. For example, 1-3, 4-7, 8- makes three files, and the last one runs to the end of the document.
Why did I get a ZIP file?
When a split creates several PDFs, they're packed into one ZIP so you only need a single download.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.
What happens to my files?
Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
