Common questions

What's the difference between the two sizes?

3.5 x 2 inches is the usual size in India and the US. 85 x 55 mm is common in Europe. Ask your printer if you aren't sure.

What are bleed and crop marks?

Colors run 3 mm past the edge of the card, and small lines show where to cut. That way a slight shift in cutting doesn't leave a white edge.

Will the colors match exactly?

The PDF uses screen colors, known as RGB. Most print shops convert these automatically, but colors can shift a little, so ask for a proof if the exact shade matters.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up for everyday use, and a free account raises the daily limit if you need more.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.

Is what I enter kept?

It's only used to get your result. Some public answers, such as the branches for a pincode, are kept for a while so the next lookup is quicker, but nothing links them to you.
