About this tool

Get web content into a document you can edit in Word. Paste your HTML or add a file, and each heading gets a true Word heading style, so the navigation pane and table of contents work. Lists number themselves, tables stay tables, and links still open when you click them.

Common questions

Are my website's styles kept?

Styles written on a tag, such as a color or centered text, are kept. Separate style sheets are ignored, so the document uses Word's own styles and stays easy to edit.

Why are some pictures missing?

Pictures embedded in the HTML always work. For pictures on the web, turn on Download pictures from the web. Pictures saved in a folder on your computer can't be reached, and SVG pictures aren't added.

How long is my document kept?

Files you add and the finished document are deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.

Is what I enter kept?

It's only used to get your result. Some public answers, such as the branches for a pincode, are kept for a while so the next lookup is quicker, but nothing links them to you.
