Text copied from a PDF or a web page often has double spaces, tabs and spaces at the end of lines. Paste it here and repeated spaces become one, and each line is trimmed. No-break spaces are treated as spaces, and you can also strip hidden zero-width spaces. Hindi and emoji joiners are never touched.
Common questions
Does it remove line breaks?
Not unless you ask. Tick Join everything into one line to turn all lines into a single line. To remove empty lines only, use the Remove Blank Lines tool.
What are zero-width spaces?
They are invisible characters that some websites and apps add to text. They can break searches and imports. The option removes them but keeps the joiners that Hindi and emoji need.
Can I keep indentation?
Yes. Tick Keep indentation and the spaces at the start of each line are left alone while the rest is cleaned.
