About this tool

Ordinary compressors fade a thin pen line into gray smudges. This one is built for signatures: paper shadows are removed, the ink is darkened, empty paper is cut away, and strokes are protected as the picture shrinks. Forms that ask for 10 to 20 KB are the default.

Common questions

Can I photograph my signature with a phone?

Yes. Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen and take the photo in even light. Shadows across the paper are removed.

Can I keep blue ink?

Yes. Choose Keep the ink color. Black on white is the default because many forms ask for it and the file stays smaller.

Why does the size reach the minimum so exactly?

A small signature can fall below a form's minimum. When that happens, blank bytes are added as a hidden comment to reach it, and the signature itself doesn't change.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up, and nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
