Examples
English (Easy) and Maths (Hard), both with exams on 19 November 2026, starting on 9 November with 2 hours every day and no revision days: the 20 hours split into 5 for English and 15 for Maths.
Maths on Saturday 14 November and Science on Wednesday 18 November, 3 hours a day from Monday 9 November, Sundays off and 1 revision day: Friday 13 November is all Maths revision, Tuesday 17 November is all Science revision, and each subject gets 12 hours in all.
Maths on 11 November with 10 hours needed, starting on 9 November at 2 hours a day: only 4 hours fit, and the plan warns you to start earlier or add hours.
About this tool
Enter each subject with its exam date and how hard it is, then the hours you can study on each day of the week. The planner shares those hours out by difficulty, gives sooner exams more of the early days, keeps the last days before each exam for revising it, and never plans a subject after its exam. It tells you when the time isn't enough, and the same inputs always give the same plan.
Common questions
How are the hours shared between subjects?
By difficulty: when there's time for everything, a Hard subject gets three times the hours of an Easy one. When an exam is close, that subject gets the early days first, so it isn't squeezed out.
What are revision days?
The last days with study hours before each exam, kept for that subject only. With 2 revision days, the two days before your Maths exam are all Maths. If one of them is already kept for an earlier exam, that subject gets fewer, and the plan says so.
What does Hours needed do?
It's optional. If you think a subject needs about 30 hours, enter 30: the subject stops at 30 hours, and you're warned if 30 hours don't fit before its exam.
Is this the same as the Timetable Maker?
No. The Timetable Maker makes a fixed weekly grid of school periods. This makes a dated plan that changes day by day until your exams end.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
