Listen to a lecture in half the time, or slow a song down to learn its part. Voices stay at their natural pitch at any speed. Turn pitch keeping off for the other effect, where speeding up also raises the pitch, like a record spun too fast.
Common questions
How far can I change the speed?
From a tenth of normal speed up to ten times. Speech stays easy to follow up to about 2×. Beyond that it gets harder to understand.
What does Keep the original pitch do?
It stretches the sound in time without changing its notes, so voices sound normal. With it off, faster also means higher, and slower means deeper.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.
What happens to my files?
Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Do I need to install anything?
