Common questions

How many days are there between two dates?

Take the first date away from the second. The page does this by day numbers, so month lengths and leap years are always right.

Does it work for dates many years apart?

Yes. Any dates from year 1 to 9999 work, and 29 February is counted in leap years.

How do I count only weekdays?

Tick the working days option. It counts Monday to Friday, and Saturday too if you tick that box.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool runs inside your browser, so what you enter stays on your device.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
