About this tool

Stitch together chapters of an audiobook, parts of a lecture or a run of songs. Drag the files into order, and mix formats freely. Add a crossfade so tracks blend into each other, or a few seconds of silence between them. Matching MP3 files join with no re-encoding.

Common questions

Can I mix different formats?

Yes. MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and others can all go in the same merge, and they're matched automatically.

When is quality kept exactly?

When every file is an MP3 with the same settings, you save as MP3, and you add no crossfade or gap. They're joined without re-encoding.

How long can a crossfade be?

Up to 15 seconds, and no more than half your shortest track, because a track can't blend into both of its neighbours at once beyond that.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
