How to format a professional email
- Paste your rough email.
- Choose a greeting and a sign-off.
- Check what changed, then copy the tidy email.
Examples
“can u send the PAN and GST details b4 friday” becomes “Hi,” then “Can you send the PAN and GST details before Friday?” then “Regards,”. The list of changes shows u to you, b4 to before, friday to Friday, the capital C, the question mark, and the greeting and sign-off that were added.
A quote email that says “i have reduced the cost to ₹45,000 as discussed .” comes out as “I have reduced the cost to ₹45,000 as discussed.” The amount isn't touched, and a “??” later in the email is flagged but left as written.
“Kindly do the needful and revert back.” is kept as you wrote it, with three suggestions: say exactly what you need, use please reply instead of revert back, and use please instead of kindly.
About this tool
Turn a quick, rough message into an email you'd be happy to send. Paste your text, choose a greeting and a sign-off, and the formatter fixes capitals and spacing, expands shorthand such as pls, u and thx, removes extra blank lines and splits very long paragraphs. Every change is listed, and nothing is rewritten by AI.
Common questions
Does it rewrite my email?
No. It follows fixed rules, such as a capital at the start of each sentence and one blank line between paragraphs, so the same text always gives the same result. Your words stay yours, and every change is listed.
What does it point out without changing?
Words in capitals, which can read as shouting, repeated marks such as !!! or ??, and sentences over 35 words. They're shown so you can decide what to do.
Why does it suggest other words for “do the needful”?
Phrases such as do the needful, kindly revert and PFA are common in Indian offices, but they can confuse readers elsewhere or sound stiff. The formatter suggests plainer wording and leaves the choice to you.
Will it change ASAP or PL?
No. Words in capitals are left as written, so ASAP, PL for privilege leave and GST stay as they are. Only lower case shorthand such as asap and pls is expanded, and you can turn that off.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs inside your browser, so what you enter stays on your device.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
