About this tool

Paste the part of a link after the question mark, or a whole link, and see each parameter on its own row with its value decoded. Change a value, add a parameter or remove one, and the encoded query string is rebuilt as you go. You can choose to write spaces as plus signs, the way HTML forms do.

Common questions

Should spaces be %20 or +?

In links, %20 is always safe. A plus sign means a space only in form data. Use the checkbox to choose.

What if a % code is invalid?

The text is shown as typed and a note warns you, instead of failing.

Does it handle empty values?

Yes. A name with no value, or with an equals sign and nothing after it, appears as a row with an empty value.

Is it free to use?

Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool runs inside your browser, so what you enter stays on your device.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
