About this tool
Need a logo or graphic from the web in a format your design app can open? PNG keeps transparency, unlike JPG, so the background of a cut-out image stays clear. The picture is carried across pixel for pixel, with nothing further lost.
Common questions
Is transparency kept?
Yes. Clear areas in the WebP stay clear in the PNG.
Why is the PNG much bigger?
WebP compresses more heavily, and PNG stores every pixel without loss. If size matters, run the result through Image Compressor.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.
What happens to my files?
Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
