Examples

Two 4000 × 3000 photos of a room, before and after painting, side by side with Fit the photos: the result is 1920 × 731, each photo 942 × 707, and only 2 pixels are trimmed from the left and right of each photo.

The same two photos stacked on a 4:5 portrait canvas for Instagram: 1080 × 1350, each photo in a 1056 × 657 space, so 256 pixels are cut from the top and from the bottom of each photo.

Two 3000 × 4000 portrait phone photos side by side with Fit the photos: a 1920 × 1280 result, with nothing cropped at all.

About this tool

Show a change at a glance: a room before and after painting, a garden through the seasons, or a shop before its makeover. Add the before photo first, then the after photo. They're placed side by side with Before and After tags, and the shape follows the photos, so little or nothing is cropped. The tags can say anything, such as dates.

Common questions

Which photo goes first?

The first photo you add sits on the left, or on top when stacked, and gets the first label. Drag the list to swap them, or click a photo in the preview and choose Earlier or Later.

Can I change the labels?

Yes. Type one label per line, such as 1 January and 1 June, or पहले and बाद में in Hindi. Untick Add a label to each photo to leave them off, and choose a corner or the bottom middle for them.

Why is part of a photo cut off?

When the two photos have different shapes, or you choose a fixed shape such as a square, each photo is cropped to fill its half. Click it in the preview to choose the part that shows.

Can the photos go one above the other?

Yes. Choose 2 stacked in the layouts. Wide photos stay larger stacked, and tall photos stay larger side by side.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
