Nine 1080 × 1080 product photos for a shop's catalogue on a square: 3 across and 3 down, each about 357 × 357 pixels with 4 pixel lines, and nothing is cropped.
Four 4000 × 3000 phone photos on a square: each fills a 538 × 538 space, so the middle 3000 × 3000 of each photo shows.
Six 4000 × 3000 photos on a 16:9 canvas for a computer screen: 3 across and 2 down at 1920 × 1080, each 636 × 537, keeping 3554 of the 4000 pixel width.
About this tool
Lay out photos in equal rows and columns, such as 2 × 2 for four photos or 3 × 3 for nine, for a product catalogue, a class photo board or a post. Every photo gets the same size of space, with thin even lines between them. When the count doesn't make a full grid, the photos are spread over rows or columns of nearly equal length.
Common questions
Which grid will my photos get?
Four photos make 2 across and 2 down, nine make 3 and 3, and twelve make 4 by 3 either way round. Counts such as 5 or 7 are spread over rows or columns of nearly equal length. You can pick any grid that holds your photos.
How thin are the lines between photos?
They start at 4, which is about 4 pixels on a 1080 square. Set Space between photos to 0 for no lines, raise it for wider ones, and choose their color with Background color.
Are the photos cropped?
Each photo fills its space, so on a square grid a 4:3 photo loses a little from its sides. Click a photo in the preview to choose the part that shows, or choose Fit the photos as the shape to crop less.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.
What happens to my files?
Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
