How to round the corners of an image
- Add one or more images.
- Choose the corner size, or a circle.
- Select Round Image Corners and download the result.
Examples
A 1200 × 800 screenshot at 10%: each corner gets an 80 pixel radius, because 10% of the 800 pixel side is 80.
A 3000 × 2000 photo cut into a circle: the middle 2000 × 2000 is kept and becomes a round PNG with clear corners.
A 1080 × 1080 post at 50% with white corners: you get a round picture on a white square, saved as a JPG.
About this tool
Rounded corners make a photo or screenshot look finished on a slide, a website or a post. Set the corner size as a share of the shorter side, so a whole batch looks alike, or cut the image into a circle from its middle. Corners can be transparent in a PNG or WebP, or filled with any color.
Common questions
How big should the corners be?
Around 5 to 10 percent gives a soft card look. 50 makes the short ends fully round, and on a square image that's a circle.
Why is the result a PNG?
JPG can't store transparent corners, so clear corners are saved as PNG. Choose a corner color and you get a JPG instead, or pick WebP for a smaller file that keeps the corners clear.
How does the circle choose what to keep?
It takes the largest square from the middle of the image, then rounds it. To center a face, crop the photo first with Image Cropper.
Are the edges smooth?
Yes. Each pixel on the curve is shaded by how much of it sits inside, so the edge has no jagged steps.
Is it free to use?

What happens to my files?
