About this tool

Set the exact size you need, whether that's pixels for a website, a percentage, or centimeters for a print. A list shows what each image will come out at before anything runs, and the shape is kept unless you choose otherwise.

Common questions

What's the difference between fit, fill and stretch?

Fit keeps the whole image inside your size. Fill gives your exact size by cropping the edges. Stretch gives your exact size by changing the shape, which can distort faces.

How do I resize for printing?

Choose Print size, enter the width in cm, mm or inches, and set the DPI. 300 suits photo prints. The DPI is saved in the file, so it prints at that size.

Will a small image get blurry?

Enlarging can't add detail, so it will look softer. Turn on Don't enlarge smaller images to leave those files as they are.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
