About this tool

Opening a CSV directly in Excel often wrecks it: 09876543210 loses its zero, long card numbers turn into 4.11E+15, and accented names break. Here each column is checked first, so amounts become real numbers, dates become real dates, and codes stay exactly as written. The header row is styled, and columns are sized to fit.

Common questions

Will 03/04/2026 be read as March or April?

If other dates in the column settle it, such as 25/04/2026, that order is used. If not, the day is read first and you'll see a note. You can also choose the order yourself.

Which columns stay as text?

Any column with leading zeros, numbers of 12 digits or more, or a plus sign like +91. Columns named Phone, Mobile, PIN, ZIP or Aadhaar stay as text too, when they hold only digits.

Can I combine several CSV files?

Yes. Add up to 30 files and each one becomes its own sheet in a single workbook.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
