About this tool

Before you upload a photo, find out whether it meets the rules. Add any image to see its pixels, megapixels, shape, DPI, file size and format, plus how large it prints at 300 DPI. Add several together to compare them in one table.

Common questions

Why are the width and height swapped from what my computer shows?

Phones often store photos sideways with a note to turn them. This tool shows the size as the photo appears, the right way up.

What does Not set mean for DPI?

The file holds no DPI value. That's common and harmless on screens. If you need one for printing, use Image DPI Changer.

Is it free to use?

Yes. You can use it without an account a few times a day, and a free account raises the daily limit. Nothing is added to your file unless you ask for it.

What happens to my files?

Your files are only used to run the tool you chose, and they're deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It all works in your browser, on any computer or phone.
