About this tool
A purchase order tells a vendor exactly what you're buying, at what price and by when. Fill in the vendor, the delivery address and your items, then send a numbered PDF. Keeping a clear PO number makes it easier to match the vendor's invoice later.
Common questions
Who fills in which side?
You're the buyer here. Your company goes in Buyer and the supplier you're ordering from goes in Vendor. Add a Deliver to address if goods go somewhere else.
Does a purchase order replace an invoice?
No. You send the PO to place the order, and the vendor sends you an invoice for payment, usually quoting your PO number.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up for everyday use, and a free account raises the daily limit if you need more.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
Is what I enter kept?
It's only used to get your result. Some public answers, such as the branches for a pincode, are kept for a while so the next lookup is quicker, but nothing links them to you.
