About this tool
Send a customer a clear price before the work starts. List your items, add any discount or tax, say how long the price holds, and set out your terms. The result is a tidy PDF you can email or print, with numbering that moves up by itself.
Common questions
What's the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation offers a price before a sale. An invoice asks for payment after it. When a quote is accepted, you can enter the same items in the Invoice Generator.
How long should a quotation stay valid?
That's your choice, and 15 to 30 days is common. Prices that change often, such as materials, usually get a shorter period.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up, and you can use it as often as you like.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser on a computer or a phone.
Is what I enter kept?
It's only used to get your result. Some public answers, such as the branches for a pincode, are kept for a while so the next lookup is quicker, but nothing links them to you.
